Corinne Ann Adcox, born on November 24, 1934, in Clayton, Union County, New Mexico, peacefully passed away on May 3, 2024, in Queen Creek,  Arizona, at the age of 89.  She was cared for in her own home.

Corinne was a Navy wife and homemaker who created a warm and welcoming home for her children and grandchildren and extended family and friends.  Being the wife of a Navy pilot, they lived in various places in the United States and also overseas. They were stationed mostly in California.

In 1971, Jim retired from the Navy and they later moved with their six children in 1972 to Paradise Valley, Arizona.  Corinne loved to cook, sew and also found time to substitute teach.  She was also known for her spirited and assertive personality.

She is survived by her children Doug and (Suzie) Adcox, Danny and (Beverly) Adcox, David and (Sang ) Adcox, Julie and (Jim) Burton, Jon and (Annette) Adcox, and Jim and (Christi) Adcox.  She leaves behind 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, along with her former daughter-in-law, Reni Adcox; three loving sisters, Mary Ellen Davis, Judy McConaghie and Catherine Dehlin; and her Goldendoodle dog named Molly who is a very naughty dog.  Corinne was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Adcox, and her grandson Rhett Adcox.

Corinne grew up in Clayton, New Mexico, graduating from Clayton High School in 1951.  She attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of New Mexico.  She and Jim (James) were married in the backyard of the family home in Clayton, New Mexico in 1955.  Their marriage was later sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple in 1975.

Corinne was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at 11:ooam on June 1st at the LDS church at 18550 E Riggs Rd, Queen Creek,  AZ  85142.
