Dawn Marie Fritz, 64, of San Tan Valley, AZ passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at her home. Ms. Fritz, a retired pet sitter, was born in Elmira, New York.

She is survived by her son, Ian Fritz (Shelbie); her sister, Donna Marble (Jeff); her brother, Scott Lane (Annette); her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Hall (Anthony), Abigail Marble (Alex) and Matthew Marble (Jena); and her great-nieces and nephews, Riley Wicks, Emma Hall, Aubrey Tyrolt, and Jack and Lucy Marble.

Dawn loved four things in life. She loved her son Ian and his fiancé Shelbie. They were the light of her life.

Dawn was a true family person. She and her sister Donna and her significant other Jeff were her best friends and they loved going on adventures and enjoying Sunday Funday at the pool. Her brother Scott and his wife Annette were her “steady eddies”. She looked to them for love and guidance. Scott was her personal handyman!! My heart hurts with the news of Dawn’s passing. We were childhood neighbors on Yale St.. we all moved away when we became adults. I found Dawn on Facebook years ago and we reconnected. Her daily posts were very uplifting and she shared so much of what she loved with all of us. I will miss Dawn and her daily posts. May God give you all peace during this difficult time, especially her siblings Scott and Donna. Peace be with you. Rhonda (Raatz) D’Urso

I didn’t really get to know Dawn well in High School. It was just recently I started conversing with her and realized I have been missing out. She was so genuine and caring. I will miss you Dawn. I’m so sorry and my sincere condolences for all Dawn’s family. She will be at her son’s wedding, I know for sure!! RIP Dawn. Many prayers for the family…

God bless you Dawn, from across the pond. We met in Cancun on holiday and kept in contact via Facebook. You would often comment on my daily status updates and liked my doggie photos. You were a lovely and friendly soul who was taken far too early. We will raise a glass to you over here in England. Until we meet again! ❤️ xx
