Donald Richard Bragg, 73, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away September 15, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on August 15, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as an only child, to Laurence and Eve Bragg. Don was a proud owner of an auto dealership.
Don is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving daughters, Eve Bragg and Tracy Bragg (Dave Brittingham); son, Albert (Patty Ann) Bragg; grandson, Christian Bragg, dog son, Sonny; and grand-dogs, Malibu and Daney Bragg.
Don grew up an automotive enthusiast and built his life around the car industry, getting his start as a mechanic and working his way to owning his own dealership. He loved spending weekends at the Jersey Shore where he spent most of his summers and continued the tradition into his retirement when he relocated to Arizona to be closer to his daughters. Don’s passions centered around his family and friends; whether it were restoring cars or attending car shows, family dinner and game night, pool parties, or the traditional Christmas Eve Italian dinner celebration, Don was notorious for cherishing the moment with those around him and making sure everyone felt like family.
Please join us for a Memorial service on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 12:30pm at San Tan Mountain View Funeral home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd. Queen Creek, AZ, 85142. A reception will immediately follow at Olive Garden in Queen Creek to share in more stories of Don’s memorable life.
Eve, Tracey, Dave, Albert, family and friends, It is said, one grieves as deeply as they love. I send prayers for strength of spirit 🙏🏻. Don will be remembered for cherishing his lovely daughters, who continue to stand by one another, as dad did. It was easy to be “snitten” by Don, and I can hear his unmistakable laugh. With love 💓
