Doris Ruth Petersen, 97, of Queen Creek, AZ, passed away at her home on Monday, July 20, 2026. Mrs. Petersen, a retired secretary, was born in DeKalb, Illinois.
She is survived by her daughter, Dione Swift; her sons, Douglas Petersen and Eric Petersen; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Doris was an active church and community member, and she was involved with United Methodist Women. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
There will be a memorial service at a later date, still to be determined.
