On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, Eileen Theresa Allen, a loving wife, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully at the age of 71. She was born on April 9, 1954 to John and Jane Allen in Baltimore, Maryland.
Eileen was a Licensed Registered Nurse with bright mind, caring heart, and a sharp wit earning her Master’s in Public Administration. She had the ability to walk into any room and make friends immediately. This trait helped her assist families when their loved ones were in the hospital and to get the needed services and supplies they needed after discharge. She loved animals, traveling and the theater. Her biggest joys were her two dogs, Scanner and Charlie.
She would have been the first to tell you, she had an amazing life. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jane (Lillis) Allen, and sister, Mary Jane Allen.
She is survived by the love of her life, Andrew Sezawich husband of 30 years, brother, John Allen, Sister–in-law, Jacque Allen, nephew Patrick Allen (Jackie Becher), niece Ansley Allen-Linderer (Andrew Linderer), and great niece Elani Grace Linderer.
Funeral masses and Celebration of Life will be held in Arizona and New York in the near future.
Eileen was a wonderful friend to both Tony and I. We all enjoyed Holidays together thru the years in New York. She will be missed.
I so enjoyed getting to know her even in the short time we had.! She and Andrew both were delightful guests. Easy to talk to and great conversationalists.
I had the honor of working with Eileen in case management. Her knowledge and expertise speak volumes. I always knew she loved animals, especially her dogs. I gave her an ornament of a dog, and she loved it! She always spoke about it. Eileen you are gone too soon. You will always be remembered
Eileen was a wonderful and caring person. Didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her but always enjoyed being with her when we did get together. Love you and miss you, cousin.
