Glen Thomas Michael, age 78, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in Queen Creek, Arizona, with his family by his side.
Born on June 15, 1947, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Walter and Zepherine Michael, Glen lived a life marked by hard work, adventure, and a deep love for his family. A true entrepreneur at heart, he spent his career building and managing businesses in a wide range of industries always bringing vision, determination, and heart to everything he did.
On June 13, 1981, Glen married the love of his life, Cheryl Michael. Together, they shared nearly 45 wonderful years filled with laughter, memories, and a shared sense of adventure. One of Glen’s greatest joys was traveling, especially his many extended trips to Thailand. He cherished the culture, the people, and the peacefulness he found there, often spending weeks at a time soaking in the experience.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mary Lee, brothers Donald and Robert, his beloved daughter Jennifer, and many dearly loved family pets. He is survived by his devoted wife Cheryl; his children, Rebecca and James (Linda), his grandchildren, Vincent and Garrett, and many nieces and nephews who brought great pride and joy to his life.
Glen will be remembered for his warmth, his stories, his adventurous spirit, and his unwavering love for those closest to him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved and inspired.
A celebration of Glen’s life will be announced at a later date in Duluth, Minnesota.

I am so sorry to hear of Glen’s passing. I loved going to their home in Iron and spending time with Glen in his office teaching me so many worldly and sometimes weirdly things of this earth! I could hardly believe the information his brain could hold! I wish I would have been able to get to see him before he passed. So sorry I wasn’t able to get there!💔♥️. With love, Karen Moller.
