Gilbert, AZ – Gregorio (Goyo) Uribe Marquez, 68, died Friday, November 18, 2016.  He leaves his wife of 46 years Laura Elena Lopez de Uribe, his daughter and her husband Rosario and Ruben Marquez, his 3 grandchildren Jesse, Greg and Natalia and his brothers and sisters Jaime, Francisco, Mario, Arturo, Elda and Sandra. Goyo was born and raised in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora.  He worked at Virsan and was a volunteer firefighter for over 10 years.  Goyo was very adventurous and at a young age traveled on his own throughout Mexico and tried his hand at working in anything ranging from working at a gas station to Teaching English.  He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed gatherings with his family as well as with friends.   He was a man of great faith and was prepared for his new journey which he called his graduation.  He asked to be remember with song and not tears.

Deja a su esposa de 46 años, Laura Elena López de Uribe, su hija y su esposo Rosario y Rubén Márquez, sus 3 nietos Jesse, Gregg y Natalia y sus hermanos y hermanas Jaime, Francisco, Mario, Arturo, Elda y Sandra. Goyo nació y creció en San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora. Trabajó en Virsan y fue bombero voluntario por más de 10 años. Goyo era muy aventurero y a una temprana edad viajó por su cuenta a través de México y probó todo tipo de trabajo desde trabajar en una gasolinera a ser maestro de Inglés. Vivió su vida al máximo y disfrutaba de las reuniones con su familia, al igual que con los amigos. Era un hombre de gran fe y estaba preparado para su nueva jornada a la cual él le llamaba su graduación. Él pidió ser recordado con canciones y no con lágrimas.

Family will greet friends for a visitation from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, including a rosary at 6pm, on November 22, 2016 at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel.
