Haley Ann Davis, 19, of Florence, Arizona, was tragically and unexpectedly lost on June 26th, 2025, in a motor vehicle accident alongside her boyfriend, Toby Harper.
She came into the world in Phoenix, Arizona on January 13th, 2006. She was the second daughter born to her loving parents Ashley Modesta Chavez and Delmechrae Lamar Davis, Sr. Haley graduated from Florence High School in 2024 with her Veterinary Tech Certificate from CAVIT. She was pursuing her college degree at Central Arizona College with the hopes to become a dental hygienist all while she was working for Quick Quack Car Wash. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing softball, hanging out with her friends, goofing around with her siblings, listening to Ariana Grande, and making silly faces. She lit up every room she walked into with her big, beautiful smile.
Haley’s unexpected passing comes as a shock to all the loved ones who adored her. They are devastated by this loss. She was far too young and had a bright future ahead of her. Despite this tragedy, her family and friends cherish the memories they had during their time together.
Haley was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Modesta “Mima” Chavez and her aunt Chantaya Annette Marie Davis. She is survived by her parents Ashley Chavez and Delmechrae Davis Sr., her siblings Jayda Davis (20), Kylah Davis (15), and Delmechrae “DJ” Davis Jr. (14), as well as her grandparents, Victoria Williams (John Williams), Eveline Jones Marshall, and Wesley Dockery. Haley was loved deeply by her extended family, which includes her aunts and uncles Lashona Davis, Natasha Dockery-Chleva (Melody Dockery-Chleva), Veronique Naranjo (Enrique Naranjo), Troy Mitchell, and Chequia Davis in addition to all of her cousins, great aunts, great uncles and friends.
A visitation will be held at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home on July 11th from 09:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the visitation a service will be held at the same location. Haley will be laid to rest at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms after the service. A reception serving light refreshments will follow at Christ’s Church of the Valley located at 23805 S. Ellsworth, Queen Creek AZ 85142.
