Hiley L. Eubanks, age 83, passed away peacefully in his home in San Tan Valley, Arizona on Thursday, April 11th, 2019.  He was born on September 25, 1935 in Du Quoin, Illinois to Lloyd and Marie (Yearian) Eubanks.  Hiley moved to Arizona with his family in 1949.  He graduated from Phoenix Union High School and then attended Arizona State College where he pursued a degree in Music.  He was an accomplished percussionist known as “Snooky” and played drums in many different bands during his school years and continued with his music career for many years after as a means of income for his family.  He married his wife Shirley Ann (Simmons) Eubanks on June 24th, 1955 and then had two sons, Ralph in 1956 and Tom in 1957.  Hiley was a true provider and worked his daily job at the Blue Print company, raised Basset Hounds to show and breed and played dance jobs at night and on weekends, but always made time to be with his family in church, youth sports, and Boy Scouts.  In 1964 he opened his own business, Reliable Reproductions, with two partners and eventually bought out the partners and became sole owner of the company.  He built the company for 32 years and eventually sold it in1996.  During those years he was active in the community as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Tempe Diplomats and the Tempe Diablos.  All of these being community service groups where he volunteered his time, met so many great people and provided support to the community that he lived in.  Hiley had a unique gift of gab and easily brought a smile to everyone that he met.

Hiley was preceded in death by his parents, his only sister Bonnie and wife Shirley.  He is survived by son Ralph and wife Tina; Grandsons Adam and Trace; son Tom and wife Sherri; Granddaughter Amanda Zielinski and her husband Doug, Grandson Andrew, Sherri’s son Casey and his fiancé Allison, and 10 Great Grand Children.
