John, you went the way of all the earth on a day that holds deep meaning for me. On this day, Jesus Christ reestablished His Church through the prophet Joseph Smith. That same Church is now filling the earth, preparing the world for the Lord’s triumphant Second Coming and the glorious Resurrection of all who have lived. I look forward to playing tennis with you again—in resurrected bodies, filled with light, health, and the glory of God. Until then, may God be with you, my brother, till we meet again.
    — Love, Justin Acklen
