John Allen Torres III, age 47, passed away on April 3, 2020 from complications of Valley Fever and heart surgery.

John was born in Los Angeles, CA on October 16, 1972.  He was the oldest son of three boys to John Torres II and Aurora Torres.  He grew up in Moorpark, California and graduated from Moorpark High School.  After high school he joined the Air Force National Guard and was proudly assigned to the 146th Security Forces Squadron in Camarillo, California for 15 years.

John moved to Arizona in 2005 with his wife, the love of his life.  For the past 13 years he has called San Tan Valley his home.  He worked as an onsite community manager in the greater Phoenix area.

John can best be described as passionate about life.  He loved family, friends, nice clothes, good food, and fast cars.  He was raised Catholic and had a strong sense of God and faith in his life.  He was extremely loyal to those he befriended and loved.  He was funny and loved to entertain others, especially at Halloween.  His wit, humor, and unique sense of reality would command the attention of a room when he entered.  He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be forever missed.

John is preceded by his father, John Torres II.  He is survived by his mother, Aurora Torres, his wife, Shirley Torres, his brothers, David Torres and Jerry Torres, his sisters Debbie Torres and Rose Marie Rose, and his stepchildren Greg Baxter, Stephenie Baxter, Chelsie Baxter and Mike Wright
