With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Jose, who left this world on December 20, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on March 1, 1958, Jose touched the lives of many with his kind spirit, boundless joy, and unwavering gratitude for life. He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia, and his six children: Claudia, Jose Jr., Elizabeth, David, Richard, and Rachel. His legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A proud and hardworking mechanic, Jose found his greatest joy in fixing cars and helping others with his skills. He had an innate gift for bringing broken things back to life, and his love for cars was matched only by his love for his family.

He was a devoted father to six children, a proud grandfather to fifteen grandchildren, and a great-grandfather to one great-grandchild. His legacy lives on in each of them. He cherished every moment spent with his family, especially during trips to the lake where laughter and love filled the air.

For the past 20 years, his daughter, Elizabeth, provided him with unwavering love and support. Elizabeth was his constant companion, caring for him with dedication and compassion. He greatly appreciated the effort she put in to ensure he always had a familiar face to turn to when he needed it the most. Her devotion and selflessness were a gift he never took for granted. Jose had a unique and infectious joy for life. Despite his struggles with memory, he never forgot the faces and names of those he loved. When he saw his family, his face would light up, and he would greet them with exuberant shouts of joy. His warmth and genuine excitement made everyone feel treasured.

He was also an avid Coke and Pepsi drinker, often taking pleasure in the simple joys of life, like sharing a soda with those he loved. His unwavering positivity, gratitude, and love for his family were evident every day. No matter what life threw his way, he remained cheerful, always with a smile on his face and a heart full of thankfulness.

His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the laughter of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Jose was a man who found joy in the little things and reminded us all to appreciate every moment.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia, his six children, fifteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, as well as countless extended family and friends whose lives he touched. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him.

A memorial service will be held on January 25th at his daughter Lisa’s house. Rest in peace, Dad. You will forever be loved and never forgotten.
