It is with heavy hearts to inform you that we lost Judith (Judy) Ann Stoutenburg on March 27, 2021 from brain trauma.  She was born October 8, 1943 and was the eldest daughter of the late Clifford R. and Alberta C. (Rood) Freeland.

Aged 77 years and formerly from St. Clair and Fort Gratiot, MI, her retiring residence was Queen Creek, AZ.

As a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Friend, Teacher, Church Elder and co-Pastor, her enjoyments in life included her family and grandchildren, giving comfort to others, making a difference in young lives, regaling family history, shopping, growing flowers, loving her cat Abby, and feeding the birds.

A long-time member in the Community of Christ Church, Judy showed compassion for everyone she met, and given the chance, would talk a country mile, often boasting proudly of her grandchildren and family.

Judy is survived by husband Edmond of 56 years, daughter Jody Stoutenburg (boyfriend Fred), son Jamie (Jami) and beloved triplet grandchildren Aven, Stirling, and Tristen, siblings Ann Whittaker, Clifford Freeland II (Lori), Penny Malcolm, James Freeland (Nancy), and many nieces and nephews, and friends.  She was predeceased by her infant daughter Rebecca.

Judy’s wish was to be cremated and the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.  In memoriam, donations can be made to Community of Christ Church, 150 N. Sullys Dr., Mesa, AZ 85205.
