Leland Marshall Sammons, 86, passed away on October 4, 2020 in San Tan Valley, Arizona. He was born on January 5, 1934 to Richard and Snow Sammons in Corbin, Kentucky.

Leland is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, C.R. Sammons and spouse, Betty Sammons and Tommy Rose and brother-in-law, Leslie D. Bowling; children, Florence H. Granell, Sandra M. Freudenberg and Timothy S. Sammons.

He is survived by his loving wife, Florence Sammons; son, Leland R. Sammons; grandchildren, Khrista L. Mauldin, Karrie L. Mentry, Robyn L. Granell, Amanda Granell, Jennifer Granell, Daniel Granell, Kasandra A. Hall, Mathew Granell, Bronte Granell, Timothy Sammons, Christopher Sammons and Hannah Sammons; great-grandchildren, Kollin M. De Pew, Kayla M. De Pew, Taylor A. Mentry, Tristin J. Mentry, Tori L. Mentry, Kallum B. Hall, Kane A. Hall and Koen G. Hall; siblings, Nona Sammons Bowling, Rachel (Ray) Simonsen , Martha (Grady) McKenzie, Irene Seal and sister-in-law, Elsie Rose and many other family members.

Services for Leland will be held on Saturday October 10, 2020 at 10:00A.M. Christ’s Church, 431 W. Ocotillo Rd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140.
