Margarita ‘Canano’ Lopez
June 12, 1951 – January 20, 2024
Margarita passed away in Gilbert, AZ at the age of 72. She was born in Rayon, Sonora Mexico to Manuel Mata and Belen Duarte.
Canano is survived by her husband, Rafael L. Lopez, and four sisters, Helena Nora Mata, Gloria Mata Hernandez, Julia Mata Morales and Elvia Mata. She was preceded in death by her son, Isaiah Robles, and her sister, Francisca Mata Villa.
Viewing will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd., Queen Creek, AZ from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Mass will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 20615 E. Ocotillo Rd., Queen Creek, AZ at 10:00 a.m.
