Mark Daniel Richmond, 65, of Gold Canyon, AZ passed away on December 27, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born on August 17, 1960, in Livonia, MI to Donald and Dorothy Richmond. Mark graduated from Gabriel Richard High School (formerly St. Thomas) in Ann Arbor, MI in 1978 where he was active in football, basketball, and baseball. He attended Eastern Michigan University. Mark married Margaret (Gerlach) in Ann Arbor on November 18, 1983. Mark owned and operated a computer consulting business and later was a Project Manager for several D365 projects.
Mark and Margaret moved to Arizona 22 years ago where he enjoyed spending time in the Superstition Mountains. Mark would often entertain family and friends while manning his pizza oven, smoker, or grill. Another favorite pastime included attending baseball games, both Cubs spring training games and Diamondback games. Mark loved to travel, often visiting favorite Arizona spots at the Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, and Tucson. He also enjoyed international travel, exploring Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, Italy and many other countries.
Mark was proceeded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy Richmond. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margaret. His brothers John (Sandy), Jim (Clemencia), sisters Therese (John), Rita (John), Betty (Robert), Margaret (Bruce), and Rosie (Tony). Sister-in-laws Debbie (Sean) and Kathy (Greg). And many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held and a later date.
