Nakiel Michael Martinez of San Tan Valley, AZ passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on 12/11/23 in Chandler, AZ at 21 years of age. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Martinez, father, Randolph “Robert” Martinez, two brothers, Anthonee and Devon Martinez, sister in law, Emma “CeCe” Martinez, nephew, Anthonee Martinez, grandparents, Anita Mangrum, Mike Bradburn and Lucille Martinez, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many beloved friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernesto Martinez. Nakiel was full of life. He loved fiercely, laughed contagiously and had the most generous heart. He was a lover of music, working out and basketball. He enjoyed playing jokes, doing impersonations and was no stranger to a good time. Despite the hardships Nakiel faced, he always sought out the best in people. In weakness, his hardships overcame his best intentions. He is in God’s loving embrace now. Rest now sweet boy, your fears are quiet, your tears are dry and your heart is whole once again. Your family loves you more than you ever knew and will keep your memory alive always.
