PAMELA, 66, WENT TO GO BE WITH THE LORD ON 12-17-2019.  SHE PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY SURROUNDED BY FAMILY.

PAMELA WAS BORN SEPTEMBER 7, 1953 IN DOVER, DELAWARE TO JOHN IRWIN ELLIS SR. OF WILMINGTON, DELAWARE AND RACHAEL MADELINE ROOP OF DAN, WEST VIRGINIA.  

SHE WAS RAISED 7TH DAY ADVENTIST AND ON A SMALL FAMILY FARM IN THE COUNTRY ALONG WITH 3 BROTHERS.   SHE GRADUATED FROM JAMES H. GROVE HIGH SCHOOL IN 1973.  SHE WENT ON TO WORK AS A NURSES AID AT THE DELAWARE STATE HOME FOR THE CHRONICALLY ILL TAKING CARE OF PATIENTS WHICH SHE ENJOYED DOING.   BETWEEN 1972 AND 1981, SHE HAD 2 SONS AND ONE DAUGHTER, ALL BORN IN DOVER, DELAWARE.   SHE LOVED HER CHILDREN DEARLY; THEY WERE THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF HER LIFE.   

IN 1979, SHE MET AIR FORCE TSGT JOHNNY WAYNE DODD OF TEXAS AND THEY FELL IN LOVE. IN 1984, THE FAMILY MOVED TO WILLIAMS A.F.B., ARIZONA.   PAM AND JOHNNY WERE MARRIED ON DECEMBER 21ST, 1984.  SHE BECAME A STAY AT HOME MOM AND THE FAMILY TRAVELED THE WORLD  AND LIVED IN PLACES LIKE INCIRLIK A.F.B., TURKEY, MARS HILL, NORTH CAROLINA, CHANUTE A.F.B., ILLINOIS, AND FOUND THEIR WAY BACK PERMANENTLY TO ARIZONA IN 1993 AND HAD A HOUSE BUILT IN GILBERT.  FROM 1993 TO 2015, SHE WORKED MOSTLY AS A COSMETICIAN FOR WALGREENS.  JOHNNY AND PAM DIVORCED IN 2003 BUT REMAINED GOOD FRIENDS.  SHE WAS CURRENTLY RESIDING IN APACHE JUNCTION. 

PAM LOVED GOD, HER FAMILY, ALL ANIMALS, GARDENING/NATURE, MORNING COFFEE ON THE PORCH, AND CHRISTMAS.  SHE HAD THE BIGGEST HEART. SHE WAS KIND, THOUGHTFUL, PATIENT, LOVING, AND HAD A LAUGH THAT WOULD MAKE YOU LAUGH.  SHE WAS SO HILARIOUS AND THE CRAZIEST THINGS WOULD HAPPEN TO HER, SHE JUST HAD ODD LUCK.  SHE LEFT HER FAMILY WITH INTERESTING STORIES TO PASS DOWN TO THE FUTURE GENERATIONS. SHE WILL BE EXTREMELY MISSED AND WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.  I KNOW SHE WILL BE WATCHING OVER HER FAMILY. 

SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY BOTH HER PARENTS AND JOHNNY W DODD. 

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER THREE CHILDREN:

SCOTT IRWIN WRIGHT AND LISA OF TEMPE, ARIZONA.

DEVON MARIE BOOZE AND GABRIEL OF SAN TAN VALLEY, ARIZONA.

DERRICK WAYNE DODD AND STEPHANIE OF MESA, ARIZONA.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER 7 GRANDCHILDREN:

JACOB D. DODD, ALEXIS R. DODD, AZALEA E.G. BOOZE, OLIVIA M BOOZE, PENELOPE A WRIGHT, WILLIAM S WRIGHT, CAIDEN L RODRIGUEZ, AND ONE STEP GRANDSON, VICTOR E MENDOZA. 

SHE IS SURVIVED BY 3 BROTHERS:

JOHN IRWIN ELLIS, JR. OF DOVER, DELAWARE, DALE IRWIN ELLIS OF DOVER, DELAWARE, AND WAYNE IRWIN ELLIS OF COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO.

A GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, 12/27/2019 AT 1:30 P.M. AT 

SAN TAN MEMORIAL GARDENS AT SCHNEPF FARMS

22425 E CLOUD RD.

QUEEN CREEK, ARIZONA  85142

    My condolences to the whole family. Pam was such a wonderful person and will be dearly missed. She loved all of you so much and talked about all of you with love in her words. Her loving spirit will be missed here on Earth. We are so sorry for your loss.

    Just heard of Pam’s passing…sorry for your loss…she was such a kind hearted and loving person. Just a few short years ago, she was so happy at making her new life in Saguaro Canyon Village…her smile will be greatly missed.
