Patrick Gilbert Ott – Loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew

Queen Creek, AZ

 

Patrick Gilbert Ott, 56, of Queen Creek, died from cancer at home on January 24, 2022 at 9:00am. Born September 7, 1965 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Patrick graduated from Phoenix College with an associate’s degree. Patrick started his career as a journeyman electrician and moved to building safety with the City of Tempe in his late 20’s. Patrick was drawn to building of all sorts and seeing how everything came together, he loved construction in all shapes and sizes. After a few years he moved to City of Mesa where he enjoyed a long career doing commercial/industrial and residential inspections.  He loved to mentor co-workers and share his knowledge. Patrick Retired from the city on January 8th, 2022.

Patrick loved his boys and had a special bond with each one. Ryan and Pat shared the love of Rock-n- Roll music. Logan and Pat shared the love of football and the stats.

Survivors include wife, Karen Ott, two sons Ryan Patrick Ott (20) and Logan Brady Ott (16), brother Duane (Veronica) Ott, sisters Annamarie Collins, Tammy Anderson and Bridget Ott, mother-in-law Nancy Peter, and sisters-in-law Caprice Peter, Stephanie Peter and Barbara Demars. Patrick has numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces as well as great nephews and nieces. His England family mourns his loss as well. Patrick was predeceased in death by his loving mother, Teresa Ott, sister Amanda Ott, father-in-law Larry Peter and brother in-law Lonny Blood.

Hospice of the Valley was instrumental in helping Pat and his family through this tough time. Pat will be cremated and will be placed with his mother and sister.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later time.
