Rebecca Jean Plumb (BeBe or Becky) of Florence, formerly of Kingman, passed away Sunday April 12, in Gilbert, AZ at the age of 68.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Kelse Lee Plumb (Kelly) and grandson Brandon Balch. Rebecca is survived by her 2 sons; Michael Balch of Adamsville, TN; Kelsey A. Plumb of Florence, AZ; her brothers, Buck Dockery of Mary Esther, FL, Mike Dockery of Melrose, FL and Ronnie Dockery of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Rebecca was born to Willard (Bill) and Dora Dockery on September 23, 1951 in Killeen, TX. Her father was in the Air Force and the family lived in many places around the country and the world, including Taiwan and Panama. Rebecca worked several jobs, including a bartender, where she met Kelse in Tucson, AZ, a property manager and a stay at home Mother to raise Kelsey. Rebecca enjoyed many adventures throughout her life such as sky diving and riding her VW trike alongside Kelse on his Harley Davidson. She also loved life, her family and friends, some good ole homecooked food and spending time with her grandpuppies.
Rebecca belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles and she was a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association.
A Celebration of life will be held once our current worldwide circumstance is over.
Becky was a classmate of mine in the 5th grade at Grand Forks (North Dakota) Air Force Base. I’m sorry to hear of her passing; it sounds like she turned out to be a wonderful and fun person!
