Richard “Dick” Frank Colton, 84, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away on September 12, 2023.  He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to Russell and Virginia Colton on January 22, 1939.

Dick was retired from GM after almost 34 years. He enjoyed his retirement in Arizona.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jolynn Jane Hoover Colton; daughters, Denise Sharpe, Deborah Plunkett, and Amy Aeppli; son, Richard “Rick” Colton; sister, Nancy Catheline; four grandchildren, James Plunkett, Tiffany Plunkett, Kaitlyn Aeppli, and Colton Aeppli and many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Judith Learn.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Ohio.

    I will have to say I’m glad the universe blessed me with such a great Uncle. I will miss our talks for sure. Thank you for always having my back and for being a positive force in my life. Heart broken that your gone and I never did best you in that Race, Inside joke but I’m glad to know your free from pain and watching over from above.
