Robert L. Dumas, 73 of Queen Creek, AZ passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 in Gilbert, AZ.

Mr. Dumas was born in Salem, Massachusetts, the son of Leo and Anastasia Dumas.

Due to Rob’s health over the past few years he didn’t get out much.  He did enjoy watching sports on TV, like the Tour de France and tennis.  Rob’s favorite TV shows were The Amazing Race and Breaking Bad.

Rob was a life member of the Elks and attended the Scottsdale, AZ Elks Lodge #2148.

Rob is survived by his wife Joyce; son, Christopher Dumas; step-son, Christopher Rand; daughter, Jennifer Dumas; step-daughters, Cheri Sukhia and Bonnie Adams; grandchildren, Nicole Adams, Jaclyn Adams, Emily Rand, Sally Sukhia and Oscar Sukhia.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 pm, Monday, November 3, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at 7:00 pm at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 E. Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142 (Ph. 480-888-2682). Additionally, a niche-side Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10:30 am at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ (Ph. 480-832-2850).
