Sharon “Cookie” Laumeyer, 54, of San Tan Valley, Arizona passed away peacefully on November 18, 2014. Born on February 18, 1960 in Antioch, Illinois to Richard and Rita Endean, she moved to Arizona to attend Arizona State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1982 and a Master’s Degree in Teaching in 1987.
A lifelong teacher, she was an inspiration to elementary students, first at Silvestre S Herrera Elementary School in Phoenix and then at Horizon Honors Primary School in Ahwatukee.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 26 years, Dan Laumeyer, her son, Jason, who is absolutely the love of her life, and two brothers, Richard Endean of Kihei, Hawaii and David Endean of Apopka, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Rita Endean.
A memorial celebration will be held at Encanterra Country Club in San Tan Valley, Arizona on November 24, 2014 at 10:00am. All are welcome to attend.
