Steven Abel Herrera, 62, of Queen Creek, AZ, passed away Friday, October 17th, in San Tan Valley, AZ.  Mr. Herrera, a business owner of a home remodeling business, was born in Phoenix, AZ.

He is survived by his daughter, Elysa (Jose) Cardenas; his son, Steven (Melissa) Herrera; his mother, Ophelia Herrera; his sisters, Vivian, Bertha and Corina; his brothers, Manuel, Johnny, Jesse and Robert; and his grandchildren, Andru, Amaya, Isaac and Zoe.

Steven’s true passion was being involved with the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). He was a quarter horse owner, racer and winner. He will be truly missed by all who loved him.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 29th. A visitation for friends and family will be held at 11:00am at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd., Queen Creek, AZ  85142, followed by a graveside committal service at 1:00pm at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms, 22425 E. Cloud Rd., Queen Creek, AZ  85142.
