Timothy Ray Hicks, 56, of San Tan Valley, AZ, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 10, 2024. Tim was born on May 14, 1967, in Culpeper, VA, to Thomas and Joyce Hicks. He was a devoted Christian and family man who enjoyed science fiction, especially Star Trek, and professional wrestling, where he performed as his alter ego, Dr. Thom Parks. Tim worked for many years as a PC technician for Vitalant Hospital and Health Care in Phoenix. Aside that, he also spoke the gospel, was a published author, a computer guru and diehard George Jones fan. He was a frequent visitor at the Queen Creek Café. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, of San Tan Valley, AZ; his sons, Kevin (Ally) of Gilbert, AZ, Philip (Ying) of Orting, WA; and siblings, Debbie Gillis (Grady) of Sumter, SC, Donna Compton (Lewis) of Rixeyville, VA, and Michael Hicks (Jennifer) of Arvada, CO; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cindy; his parents, Thomas and Joyce Hicks; and his nephew, Jacob Compton. A funeral will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 9am, at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home & Advance Planning Center, 21809 S. Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, AZ. Rev. Mike will deliver the message. A private burial will follow the service at Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery, 7900 E Main St. in Mesa, AZ.
