Tom Huber, born May 25, 1950, in Tempe, Arizona, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Terry (Duthie) Huber, and his three daughters: Allison (Ken Alexander), Holly (Paul Stetka), and Tina (Ryan Fuller). He was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren and was joyfully anticipating the arrival of two great-grandchildren later this year.
He is also survived by his siblings, George (Pam) Huber, Judy (Dave) Holden, and Cris (Meki) Afusipa.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rose Huber; his sister, Rose Lyn Huber; his brother, Bennion Huber; his brother-in-law, Dave Holden; his brother-in-law, Meki Afusipa; and his nephew, David Ross Holden.
Tom dedicated 35 years of his life as a teacher and coach at Marcos de Niza High School, where he made a lasting impact on countless students and athletes. He was deeply respected for his mentorship, integrity, and passion for guiding young people.
Outside of his career, Tom was a man of many talents and interests. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a skilled carpenter, and above all, a devoted family man. He found joy in working with his hands, being outdoors, and spending time with those he loved most.
Tom will be remembered for his strength, wisdom, sense of humor, and the unwavering love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched.
