Wanda Lee Muldowney, 78, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on September 16, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Leona and Dewey Albritton.
Wanda, a breast-cancer survivor, was a woman of deep faith, steady hands, and a nurturing soul. Wanda’s legacy is one of resilience, compassion, and unconditional love—her gift to us will echo through generations. Her warm smile and laughter will be a memory cherished forever.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Leona (Ragland) Albritton and her father, Dewy Albritton, two sisters: Rebecca Hagan, Charlesetta Fultz, brother: Larry Albritton, sister-in-law Lisa Muldowney, and her daughter, Carrie Anne Mosley, whose memory Wanda held close to her heart.
Wanda is survived by her devoted husband, of 52 years, Michael Muldowney, who stood by her side through life’s journeys and joys. She leaves behind her loving son, Travis Muldowney (Crystal), her brother, Mark Albritton, brothers-in-law, Ken Muldowney (Cheryl) and Bob Muldowney. She also leaves her treasured grandchildren: Tori Hix (David), Abigail Mosley, Haeden Sauer (Alizae), Andrew Sauer, and Lincoln Muldowney, great grandchildren: Carter Aiello, and Andrew White, as well as her nieces and nephews: Angela Grider, Tracy Bauer, Tommy Smothers, Elizabeth Reichmuth, Marcus Albritton, Weston Albritton, Tracy Norton, Heidi Hill, Ryan Muldowney, and Tyler Muldowney.
