Our beloved grandfather, William George Kenney, passed away in his home on July 3rd, 2023, at the age of 89. He is survived by his sister, Jodean Buckley.

He was born in Huntington Park, CA, on December 11th, 1933. He graduated from Hollywood High School in 1952, after which he joined the Coast Guard. He was a veteran of the Korean War. After leaving the military, he began his career in the motion picture industry. Bill was a Studio Grip, working on several movies as well as television series including Fletch, Twins, Gremlins, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and too many more to name. In 2003, he married Sharon Claggett. They shared a love of travel and enjoyed many cruises together during their happy marriage.

He leaves behind his grandchildren, Erin Barnett, Brendan Kenney, Jordan Kenney, Stephanie Kenney, and Danielle Cook. He also leaves behind 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ellen, his wife, Sharon, his children, Jeffrey and Lynn, and his great-granddaughter, Maeve.

The funeral will be held at The Dungeness Cemetery in Sequim, WA, on Friday July 21st, 2023, at 11:00 AM. All Friends and Family are welcome.
